Considering the influence factors of vehicle vibration and noise,the transmission is in one of the main sources beside of engine and exhaust system.The excitation of gear manufacturing error has great influence on the gear whine which is the most common pattern of transmission vibration and noise.By improving gear machining technology and improving the machining accuracy of gears,the vibration noise can be reduced.However,it can lead to increase the cost of manufacture.Therefore,it is necessary to reduce the vibration and noise of the transmission by controlling manufacturing error under the process condition.Based on the mechanism of transmission system vibration and noise,the coupled vibration analytical model which considering the influence of the dynamic performance of gearbox is constructed.The influence of gear contact ratio,transmission error,mesh misalignments and contact pattern on the vibration and noise of transmission system are analyzed,and make the theoretical explanation of its causes.The finite element modal analysis and experimental verification of gearbox are carried out,from modal frequency error and MAC value of the modal correlation two aspects to discuss the validity of the analytical model.Based on MASTA software,considering the influence of flexible gear box,the coupled vibration analytical model of transmission was created,by which the influence of the flexible gear box on the dynamic meshing characteristics of the gear pair is analyzed.The results shown that the mesh misalignments,contact pattern,peak-peak value of transmission error and dynamic meshing force of gear pair have deteriorated obviously due to the elastic deformation of gear box,and there is a great correlation between the peak of dynamic meshing force and the mode of gear box.Gear contact pattern experiment is carried out and obtained the contact pattern on tooth surface,which verified the transmission system simulation model preliminarily.The vibration and noise of transmission monomer experiment is carried out,by which the influence rules of speed,load and gear integrated manufacturing error on transmission whine are studied,and the analytical model is validated ulteriorly.Based on the simulation and experimental results,the structure of gear box is optimized,and the dynamic meshing characteristics of the gear pair is improved.Based on the analytical model of transmission system with integrated manufacturing errors,which was verified by experiment.Integrated transmission errors were modified as single transmission errors,therefore the effect that pitch errors,helix tilt errors and radial runout errors have on transmission whine is studied.Finally Influence mechanism is clear.
