ADS-B technology has been approved and highly recommended by the ICAO. It is of great significance to improve flight safety and airspace utilization. The report generation and trajectory filtering is one of the most important part in ADS-B system, which will directly influence the function of the whole system, especially for the real-time function and data throughout. So, it is an important research task of the report generation and trajectory filtering method.In this thesis, we mainly focus on the subsequent processing of the baseband signals,which have been partly treated. The assignment includes identifying the signal type,reclassification of the message, CPR decoding of the position message, track filtering of the air targets, generating and updating of the report in real time, allocation of storage space, etc.The detail assignment are as follows:First, we build the relationship between the ADS-B messages and reports, with which we can easily find the logical relationship for processing the message data and then result the formation of the report.Second, we offer the interpretation of the CPR encoding and decoding algorithms,and find the relationship between the message and report contents. Then we build the report generation way and do the simulation in matlab.Third, we complete the simulation for the Kalman filtering method, which is also the way proposed by the RTCA. However, we find that the filtering method is not so good and it needs to be improved. Then according the research of the Multi-model method, we find that it can offer a better result for track filtering. We also proposed the IMM method, which set the CV model and the uniform-structure model as the sub-model and design the adapting probability matrix. At last, we do the experiments in Matlab and get an ideal result.
