The Harmonic Analysis and Suppression for Power System of ship were studied in this paper. In recent years, there are more and more harmonic pollution in Power System of Marine due to the widespread application of nonlinear electronic equipments to ship,which impact on the security and economy of operation of ship. The harmonic will not only cause the danger of collapse of electric network but also disturb the communication system,navigation system and rescue equipments for shipwreck. Right now, shipbuilding and maritime industry of our country has achieved rapid development, the harmonic control will be a problem which cannot be ignored. So the research of harmonic analysis and suppression of ship has very far-reaching significance for the ship of our country safe and economical operation.Firstly, introduced some basic concepts of harmonic, including the definition and some features of harmonics. The equipment of ship power system which generates harmonic has been studied, as well as its hazards. Introduced some traditional harmonic analysis algorithm-windowed interpolation FFT algorithm, analyzed the spectrum of different window function. This paper proposed an approach for electrical harmonic analysis based on Kaiser Window triple-spectrum-line interpolation FFT. And the interpolation formula of the fundamental and harmonic frequencies, amplitudes and initial phase has been deduced. And used it analyzed the simple and harmonic content-rich complex signals when white noise exists or fundamental frequency changes, the simulation results verifies the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.Secondly, active power filter (APF) classification and topology were introduced,analyzed the composition structure and the basic principle of APF, existing harmonic current detection algorithms was studied. Proposed an improved ip-iq harmonic current detection based on instantaneous reactive power theory which can solve the shortcomings of traditional algorithm cannot balances the detection accuracy and detection speed.Finally, simulated the Shunt Active Power Filter with Matlab Simulink toolbox, all components of the composition of APF were modelled. Simulated under the three-phase grid symmetric and asymmetric respectively, verified that the harmonic current detection algorithm mentioned in this paper and the design of Shunt Active Power Filter correctness and effectiveness.
