In order to reduce the high energy consumption of marine diesel engine and to meet the new standard of international ship building, the paper studies the waste heat utilization system of marine diesel engine. In this paper, the waste heat of the diesel engine is converted into electrical energy, and the optimum use of the system is selected with the maximum cycle power generation as the objective function.This paper carried out single pressure steam circulation system, dual pressure steam cycle system, pure refrigerant circulation system, circulation system of non azeotropic and supercritical CO2 circulation system. the pure ORC using R245fa as refrigerant, and the non azeotropic cycle system using R245fa /R601 as working fluid.This paper presents that double pressure steam system compared with the single pressure steam system is more suitable for diesel engine waste heat utilization system; using non azeotropic circulation system is better than the pure ORC system; the thermal cycle thermal efficiency,energy efficiency,cycle net work,the mass flow rate of the supercritical regeneration CO2 cycle is higher than that of the basic cycle.On the basis of the study of single cycle, the steam-ORC combined cycle, SCO2-ORC combined cycle are studied. The paper gets the conclusion that the steam-ORC combined cycle is the most suitable cycle.In this paper, the simulation method of waste heat recycling system is given, and the simulation and process simulation are presented. On the basis of the research of single cycle,the construction of the combined cycle is carried out, and more effective recovery of the diesel engine exhaust and improve the power generation capacity, and further reduce the high energy consumption of marine diesel engine, adapted to the new specifications of international shipbuilding.In this paper,the economic analysis of the circulation system is carried out by using the process economy analysis software. The price of the system is obtained by simulating the price of the system.
