| Ballistic missile flight in dense atmosphere, when the speed of missile comes to an hypersonic missile velocity, the front of the missile will withstand severe aerodynamic heating. On the front of the missile, the damage that caused by the aerodynamic heating are far more than the damages that caused by other external loads. Because of that,missile nose fairing not only need to have a good aerodynamic shape,should have the ability to withstand the severe aerodynamic heating. The advantage of hollow sphere cellular metal materials are low density,good mechanical properties and heat insulation performance ,it can be used in supersonic missile nose fairing structure.First of all, using the numerical method, the effective thermal conductivity, elastic modulus, shear modulus and poisson ratio of hollow sphere cellular metal materials with different arrangement mode and structure parameter were calculated. The calculation result shows that the change of arrangement mode and structure parameter of hollow sphere cellular metal materials affect the porosity of it. When the porosity increases the effective thermal conductivity of hollow sphere cellular metal materials will decrease, the mechanics properties of the material is reduced.Secondly, according to the structure characteristics of hollow sphere cellular metal materials,the supersonic missile nose fairing is designed. Using CFD- FASTRAN software the flow field around the front of missile was calculated was calculated. With the increasing of lifting height and speed,the temperature of nose fairing is augment and the pressure is decrease.Finally, using the results of the flow field that around nose fairing as boundary conditions, the thermal protective performance and stability of the designed supersonic missile nose fairing and were checked. When the missile nose fairing is working, due to the thermal stress which caused by aerodynamic heating is the main factors that influence the stability of the missile nose fairing. Because the hollow sphere cellular metal materials has good mechanical properties and thermal protective performance, the nose fairing can satisfy the use requirement. |
