| FPM is a meshless method without background mesh, which has been applied successfully in fluid field. With the application of collocation method to discrete algebraic equation and the moving least square method to generate the shape function,FPM is an extraordinary method in various kinds of meshless method. It could be a guidance and basement for ship hydrodynamic to research the FPM program, explore the application of FPM in incompressible flow, and solve the issue in the calculation process. The whole research could be divided into the following parts:1. The theoretical research on FPM in the simulation of incompressible flow. For the purpose of incompressible flow calculation, the theory of FPM has been researched. In the theory, the issues of collocation method dispersing flow field and moving least square method fitting field vector have been derived.2. Research on object-oriented FPM programming. Based on FPM theory, the issues of object-oriented design and development, visualization on Opengl and format of output data have been solved. In program, the six-subdivision has been introduced into collocation to enhance the calculation stability; the boundary conditions including wall, free surface, inflow and outflow have been solved.3. Research on the calculation adaptability in two-dimensional flow field. The calculation analysis on the issues of two-dimensional flow around a cylinder,dam-break and tank sloshing have been completed. The issues of viscosity in flow,large-scale surface deformation and moving boundary have been solved. The solutions of the judgment on free surface, interior particles movement inspired by moving wall, which are effective to prevent distortion calculation.4. Exploration on three-dimensional calculation. On the basis of the two-dimensional calculation, the program has been upgraded to fit for three-dimensional fluid field calculation. The achievement of collocation, particles movement, interaction between field particles and boundary particles, laid a solid foundation. In the three-dimensional calculations, Opengl has been developed to add the function of rendering, shading and view control.5. Exploration on ship hydrodynamic calculation. Considered the limitations of current programming, the software of FPM has been introduced into calculation of ship hydrodynamics to explore the application of FPM in this field. Taken Wigley ship into study, FPM and FVM have been applied in the same conditions respectively.Compared with the experimental results, the two methods have been examined in precise. The differences in calculation setting, process and result between FPM and FVM, have been analyzed. Through the relevant work, the development of FPM program is directed. |
