Subsea mating technology is one of the key technologies that could realize developing and utilizing marine resources. And subsea vehicle mating device is the important means in the completion of the subsea mating operations.Study the subsea mating technology in the world and consider the ocean trait of our country. The overall program and the structure of the subsea vehicle mating device is drew in this paper. Analyzing the particularity operating environment and its working requirements of the subsea vehicle mating device,then work out the detailed operating plan. There are three parts in the mating device,dynamic mating device,the buffer and lock device and the open and close device of the cover. When the device is working in the mating progress, it can achieve the moving plat in different position and attitude by adjust its cylinder instance in dynamic mating device, to adapt the different position and attitude of the mating target. The buffer and lock device can achieve the stable initial connection and absorb the impact during the mating process.Through the kinematics analysis of the mating device,two kinds of the kinematics results would be came up with, include the positive and negative results. Then the limit position that the mating device could reach would be carried out, also confirm it can complete the mating mission with the inclination of 30°.Simulate and analyze the workspace of the subsea vehicle docking device using SolidWorks Motion software. The method could avoide the interference that may happen during the working process. It is for the reason of the visually observed simulation process.Then come up with the optimizing workspace which is basing on structural properties of the mating device. Also work out the actual workspace for the mating device which is according to the actual working requirements. Simulate and analyze subsea vehicle mating device under ADMAS. Then it can give the curves that tell us the distance, the velocity and the acceleration of the cylinder changing trend with different time. At the end, it can prove the reasonableness of its design and feasibility of perform for the subsea mating device which is designed in this paper.Calculate the additional water quality of the subsea vehicle docking device, and then analyze the displaying dynamic of the subsea vehicle docking device which is based on ANSYS/LS-DYNA. So it can simulate the collision process that mushroom head and guide plate have the single point contacting. Come up with the curves includes the stress of mushroom, plastic deformation curve, then verify the rationality and correctness of mushroom material.
