Seeker is a core part of guided weapons, used to automatically search, identify and track the tarkets. Seeker's servo system is the main executive device for the seeker to realize searching and tracking functions. And its performance plays an important role in improving the seeker 's accuracy. So designing a kind of controller for the servo system has important significance in improving its performance.In this paper, the structure and working principles of seeker servo system is described;The detailed kinematic model and dynamic analysis for seeker 's two-axis-two-gimbal servo system are made; And the mathematical model of each main parts are also established.According to the mathematical model of seeker's servo system, the control loop was established with three control methods to design controllers, and then being simulated for comparison.Based on the above, the stabilization loop transfer function models of the of the pitch frame in seeker 's servo system are established, including the models adding in interface and the simplified models. Applying traditional PID control method, fuzzy PID control and sliding mode control to design the controller separately. At the last, doing the simulation experiments with the software tool of MATLAB/Simulink. The simulation results show that traditional PID control method can not guarantee the accuracy of tracking sysytem, and its anti-jamming capacity is general, not meeting the design requirements. The sliding mode control method and fuzzy adaptive PID method can guarantee the sysytem's accuracy and anti-interface capacity in some degree. While the former's response time is much longer than the latter.Besides,using sliding mode control can lead to "chattering" phenomenon. So it can not meet the design requirements either. The fuzzy adaptive PID is not only stable and anti-jamming,but also flexible and easy to use, satisfying design requirements of the sysytem.
