The probability of gas path fault in marine three-shaft gas turbine rise with the increasing working time. In order to ensure the working stability of marine three-shaft gas turbine, gas path fault diagnosis research has particularly important meaning. In this paper, some related researches on marine three-shaft gas turbine are discussed, the main study contents and conclusions are shown as below:1. Model of three-shaft marine gas turbine nonlinear simulation is set up with the idea of modular modeling based on Matlab/Simulink and Real-Time Windows Target module; Gas turbine fault implants technology is studied. Implanting 10 fault factors includes: low compressor's efficiency,flux; high compressor's efficiency, flux; high turbine's efficiency,flux; low turbine's efficiency, flux; power turbine's efficiency and flux. Changing range of each fault factor is within 0% and 5%. The simulation calculation of the three-shaft gas turbine were conducted in nine working conditions as 0.6, 0.65, 0.7, 0.75, 0.8, 0.85, 0.9, 0.95,1.0 and 0%-5% fault factors in total 612fault status. The variation law of gas turbine parameters measured in the 9 operating conditions of different fault conditions was obtained to set as the criterion of gas turbine fault diagnosis. It can provide data support for fault diagnosis algorithm. The real-time simulation results showed that the method is accurate and reasonable, the simulation system could run in real-time and be carried out in the study of fault simulation and fault diagnosis.2. The strongly nonlinear characteristics of three-shaft gas turbine and fitting ability of radial basis function neural network to the higher dimensional nonlinear function are considered. The running state of the gas turbine for fault detection based on the multiple model radial basis neural network was obtained. Fault diagnosis algorithm and isolation were developed. The research results show that the fault diagnosis algorithm was feasible and highly valuable.3. Marine three-shaft gas turbine gas path fault diagnosis platform was set up, including.real-time gas path diagnosis system and gas path real-time simulation system. Gas path real-time simulation system can run calculation on the model of three-shaft marine gas path fault. The simulation results were put out by PCL-727 which simulated the sensors of gas turbine. Fault diagnosis system of gas turbine gas path was established based on virtual instrument and Matlab. Receiving data by PCI-1713 simulation input card. Data processing,condition monitoring,fault detection,fault isolation and data storage were realized. Four simulation experiments includes: Non-fault state simulation, single fault 2% and 5% abnormal state of single fault simulation, multi fault simulation were conducted in the paper. It shows from the experimental results that the verification platform designed can realize gas path fault diagnosis, providing good development environment and verification condition for gas turbine gas path fault diagnosis.
