Wind tunnel is the most basic test equipment for aerodynamic research as well as development of spacecraft,force-measuring test in wind tunnel tests are the most basic of these pilot projects,in the wind tunnel test,To support model and measure the aerodynamic load size,direction of and action point on the model,known as a wind tunnel balance.In high speed wind tunnel,strain-gauge balance due to the high accuracy,the structure is simple,fast signal response,and easy to maintain,and other advantages,is the most widely used wind tunnel balance.The main principle is:balance component has the strain under aerodynamic load,the resistance strain gauge glue on balance component takes the variator to measure the aerodynamic force(moment).According to the different requirements of aircraft development,the type of force measurement are many,such as hinge moment test,dynamic derivative test,component force measurement test,external store interference test,jet flow test,etc.Each experiment must use the different wind tunnel balance to measure different components static or dynamic aerodynamic loads,At present,uses the special-purpose balance regarding the hinge moment force measurement test,as well as the component force measurement test,namely carries on the brand-new balance design according to the request of each project and lack of standardization.With the development of our country's aerospace technology,in particular a large number of advanced research and development of spacecraft,data quality of hinge moment test and component force measurement test is getting higher and higher.On the one hand the traditional balance is unable to complete certain test measurements,on the other hand many traditional balances have lower measurement accuracy,have been unable to meet the requirements of some of the test,specially for some new flight vehicles,urgently requests to this kind of balance makes the improvement and develops the new high accuracy balance,Currently hinge moment balance and component force measurement balance research are internally focused mainly on china aerodynamics research and development center and aerodynamic research institute of china aviation industry,the overseas are also the restricted data,and the reference are few.Makes the research and improvement regarding the hinge moment balance and the component force measurement balance,can promote the force test quality,develop wind tunnel test content,and has very vital significance to the development of various our country's kind of new style flight vehicles.This article tries to develop many special-purpose balances separately in view of the request of 3 hinge moment tests as well as 1 component force measurement test,based on the traditional balance of test design,use of finite element method for a large number of simulations,using a variety of new structural programmes,all balances has carried on the strain gauge glue as well as the static calibration?participated in wind tunnel tests and have been successful.We can see from the balance static calibration as well as the wind-tunnel test data that newly-developed balance's accurate generally surpasses the traditional balance's,the design idea as well as the aerodynamic forces measurement plan have built the solid foundation for this type of balance development,and has provided new way of thinking for some difficult tunnel balance test.
