The problem of cracking of reinforced concrete structures is inevitable in the process of using. The generation of concrete cracks not only affects the aesthetics of structure but also affects the structural integral performance, reduces the service life of engineering and brings very great potential safety hazard to the safety of the people's life and property.Traditional methods show certain limitations for repair of cracks in reinforced concrete structures under water environment.Electrode position method is one of new developed and efficient methods for repair of cracks in underwater reinforced concrete. It can fill and closure concrete cracks, increase the alkaline environment surrounding the steel rebar in concrete, slow down steel rebar corrosion caused by harmful matter. In this paper, experiments were performed to study electrochemical deposition on reinforced concrete specimens with precast crack, through analyzing the experimental data and phenomenon, the following conclusions were obtained:1.The weight changes of the reinforced concrete specimens during the repair process were studied.Three different current intensities were fed to three different concentrations of electrolyte solution respectively, the weight of the specimens were measured and recorded in different stages.Experimental results showed that, weight of the reinforced concrete specimens decreased during the repair process.2.Changes of the rate of surface coating during the repair process were studied.Three different current intensities were fed to three different concentrations of electrolyte solution respectively, the rate of surface coating were measured in each stage using data table method.Experimental results showed that, rate of surface coating of the reinforced concrete specimens increased during the repair process.3.Changes of deposition depth of concrete cracks during the repair process were studied.Three different current intensities were fed to three different concentrations of electrolyte solution respectively and the deposition depth of concrete cracks were measured in each stage using three point sampling method.Experimental results showed that, with the increasing of current intensity, rate of crack filling depth first increased and then decreased;with the increasing of the concentration of electrolyte solution, rate of crack filling depth first increased and then went to be flat.Furthermore,we tested the changes of concrete specimen repair depth with the current intensity and the electrolyte solution concentration changed and concluded the general empirical formula.4.Compressive strength of different crack closure rates of the reinforced concrete specimens were investigated in this paper. The results showed that:with the increasing of crack closure rate, axial compressive strength of the reinforced concrete specimens gradually increased.5.Electric field distribution and ion migration rule of the electrode position device during the repair process were studied.Through summarize the experimental data and analyze the experimental phenomenon, results showed that:the closer the electrolyte solution near the steel rebar the stronger the electric field intensity, the ion migration efficiency and the electrode position reactions were.Through the study on electrode position technique in this paper, results showed the potential of this method in the rehabilitation of reinforced concrete crack, furthermore, provided a theoretical support for better application of this method in practical engineering.
