Vehicle suspension system is an important component of the vehicle,which is the connection between the vehicle body and the wheel part. The main function of the suspension system is to reduce the vibration, to improve comfort,and to ensure the safety of the vehicle. The suspension system mainly used in vehicle suspension systems has been difficult to meet the requirements of performance and comfort. The research and design of active suspension systems is very important to improve the performance of the vehicle.The automobile active suspension system is a kind of suspension system which includes an actuator, and the main control targets are attenuation and isolation of the pavement disturbance, improving the ride comfort, and at the same time to meet the driving safety constraints of vehicle, to ensure traffic safety of vehicles. In the model of suspension systems, the disturbance of road surface is a kind of mismatched disturbance, and the model is nonlinear, which makes the control more difficult. The idea of observer-based anti-disturbance control is suitable for the treatment of mismatched interference with strong robustness. This paper mainly studies the application of the disturbance rejection control in the active suspension system, and mainly includes the following aspects:1. Based on a disturbance observer, a state feedback disturbance compensation controller is designed for the 1/4 vehicle active suspension system. Numerical simulation is provided to validate the control scheme. The simulation results show that the controller with disturbance compensation has better control effect than the general state feedback control and passive suspension.2. Based on the Extended State Observer, an output feedback disturbance compensation controller is designed for 1/4 vehicle active suspension system.The theoretical analysis and the simulation of the constraint conditions for the active suspension system are given. The simulation results show that the control scheme has a good control effect, which obviously improved the ride comfort and can adapt to a variety of road disturbances. The constraint in theoretical research can also be satisfied, Moreover, the model independence and robustness of the control scheme are better than the DOB compensation control.3. Extend the control object to a half car active suspension system, and an Extended State Observer based output feedback disturbance compensation controller is designed. The control effect and constraint conditions of the controller are also simulated and verified. The simulation results show that the control scheme has good control effect on the half vehicle suspension system,and the requirements of ride comfort and constraint conditions are both satisfied.
