With the increasing demand of energy sources, the traditional energy transfer mode with transmission line as medium has been unable to meet the demand of energy transmission. As a new power transmission technology, the microwave wireless power transmission technology means to transfer the energy in the form of electromagnetic waves through the free space, to overcome the problems of high loss, high cost and inconvenient transmission about the transmission line. Because of its widespread use, great potential, its research has become more and more meaningful. Now, the microwave wireless power transmission technology has been applied in many fields. For example, the power supply of high altitude aircraft, power supply in harsh environment, low power density applications, etc. The research content of this paper is the research of high gain radiation array technology for wireless energy transmission system,focusing on the simulation of wireless energy transmission system and the realization of high gain radiation array. The system architecture and transmission efficiency of wireless energy transmission system are analyzed and studied. The main research contents are below:(1) We design two kinds of high gain Vivaldi transmit antenna arrays,which provide two choices for the form of transmitting antenna. By simulating and measuring the two kinds of 2 * 2 units, the simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental results. Furthermore,we select one of the forms of the Vivaldi antenna to form a 64-element array, and further design a Vivaldi array antenna with high gain and circular polarization. When the Vivaldi antenna is in the frequency band of 5.8GHz,the axial ratio is less than 3dB, obtained good circular polarization.Meanwhile, the gain reaches 22.8dBi, so the wireless energy transmission system can achieve high-power microwave energy emission.(2) We design a polarized reconfigurable Vivaldi array antenna, which solves the problem of single antenna polarization. The polarization mode of the antenna is adjusted according to the polarization of the received electromagnetic wave, which makes it possible to utilize the antenna aperture more effectively. The antenna consists of a circuit control section and a Vivaldi array antenna. The circuit control section controls the output of the four radio frequency energy by using the reconfigurable impedance transmission network and the RF switching unit to switch the on-off state of the RF switch. And by adjusting the Vivaldi antenna radiation unit, the polarized mode of the antenna is switched between horizontal polarization,vertical polarization and circular polarization, so that the polarization reconfiguration of Vivaldi array antenna can be realized.
