Belt conveyor is one continuous conveying equipment for transporting the loose materials.The development direction of modern belt conveyor is long distance,high speed,large capacity,the dynamic problem is obvious in the starting and stopping process,the traditional design method of static analysis cannot meet the demand of the development of modern belt conveyor.Based on the dynamic analysis of belt conveyor starting process,the maximum of belt dynamic tension force can be avoided in the the conveyor starting process,and decrease the impact to the equipment that from the change of tension force and speed,enhance the stability and safety of the equipment.The nature of conveyor belt is viscoelastic unit,the nature of tension force and speed deliver in the belt is vibration wave style,using traveling wave harmonic solution to solve the dynamic equation of the starting process,the wave attenuation coefficient and wave speed can be received.Through the attenuation coefficient and conveyor belt unit length can obtain multiples attenuation,after obtaining the multiples attenuation and based on the regulation of wave refraction and reflection and superposition of wave transmission,the travelling wave in the belt conveyor transmission law of straight line and curve segment can be got,traveling wave on the transmission line model can be setted up.Traveling wave theory and combined with difference method is adopted to establish the driving device model,changing direction roller model and tensioning roller mathematic model,by combining with the concept of wave impedance to research the dynamic tension force of time course of the drum speed entrying point and speed leaving point,research the displacement schedule changes of the tensioning roller.Based on traveling wave theory of belt conveyor roller and mathematical model of transmission line to compile the belt conveyor dynamic simulation algorithm,analyze the factors of influencing the maximum of dynamic tension force of conveyor belt in the starting process,receive several methods of decreasing the dynamic tension force of the starting process.Based on the algorithm,use Matlab software to design the program.The starting process simulation model of the belt conveyor owns the head and tail driving device,using different ways to control the starting process of the belt conveyor,draw the starting tension,speed and displacement changing tendency of every part,compare the results and analyze the differences between the different ways.
