With fast development of modern infrastructure in China, cable support structure system applies widely in plenty of actual projects, and cable is a crucial component of modern cable support structure, which is significant to the safety of structure system.Due to external corrosive environmental factor, plenty of cables of projects present steel corrosion, which changes the rest life-span of safe use of cable remarkably. Thus, reasonable assessment of rest life-span of cable is an important task to guarantee the safety of structure operation. In theory of assessing the rest life-span of detective steel component, fracture mechanics is a research widely and application reliable assessment theory. This essay uses fracture mechanics, researches on mechanical property of corrosive steel corrosion pit and crack tip and steel fatigue rest life-span,completes the following research work.1)Uses the powerful modeling, analysis and calculation functions of advanced finite element analyze software ABAQUS,through finite element analyze method, converts 3D crack J integration formula into an easily solved numerical integration way, thus solves and calculates the corrosive steel corrosion pit advanced 3D J integration.2)Uses corrosive part of steel with semi-ellipsoid corrosion pit,semi-sphere corrosion pit and open corrosion pit to do numerical modeling,in single corrosion pit, analyzes corrosion pit and advanced mechanical properties of different forms of corrosion pits and correlated patterns of residual fatigue life-span by ABAQUS.3)Discusses the fatigue crack problems of corrosive steel which contains multiple corrosion pits, uses J integration represents the advanced stress and train field, analyzes the effects of the neighbored corrosion pits to J integration, and thereby analyzes the effects of the number of corrosion pits and the intervals of neighbored corrosion pits to residual fatigue life-span of steel.
