With the needs of the people's living standards continue to improve and the development of science and technology,with its unique structure and technical characteristics of suspension Bridges shows its strong vitality,widely used at home and abroad.To ensure that the stress of the suspension bridge during construction and operation safety,the paper in the engineering background of a long-span suspension bridge in Nanning,based on the nonlinear finite element theory and method of research,on the static performance,natural vibration characteristics and stability analysis,the text main work is as follows:(1)This paper briefly describes the general situation of the development of suspension Bridges,the mechanical characteristics,significance and main content of this study are put forward.(2)This paper introduces the structure analysis and calculation theory of suspension Bridges,this paper expounds the engineering general situation of Nanning city some bridge,using the large finite element software MIDAS/Civil structure of the space finite element model is set up,calculation and analysis for bridge structure into a bridge operation stages in constant load,the stress of the under vehicle load and temperature load.(3)Dynamic characteristics analysis of suspension Bridges are introduced the theory of analytic method and finite element numerical analysis method,using the subspace iteration method to solve the numerical solution of single span suspension bridge natural frequencies and modal characteristics and correlation analysis,discusses the rise-span ratio,main cable and suspenders parameters such as stiffness,stiffening girder stiffness and boundary conditions the influence of the natural vibration characteristics of the bridge.(4)Expounds the calm wind stability analysis of the basic theory of suspension Bridges,by adopting the combination of inside and outside the increment and the dual iteration method to calculate critical wind speed of single span suspension bridge.Study on the main cable and the main tower wind load,the central buckle,initial wind angle of attack on suspension bridges static wind stability.(5)The study of the full text main content and the paper summarizes the conclusions,and put forward in the future research needs to be further discussed and solve the problem.
