In recent years,with the growth of economic,rapid development of science and engineering technology in China,our country has constructed many key projects,some of which are set up in the earthquake-prone region with the background of high earthquake intensity.Especially Jiujiang region is the prone areas of moderate-strong earthquakes in central of China.In recent years,China Power Investment Corporation has selected the site for the nuclear power plant in Penze County,Jiujiang City while Datang International Power Generation co.,LTD.,has been siting in Wuning County,Jiujiang City.Hence,providing the requirements for seismic resistance and designing ground motion parameters more reasonable and accurate is an important and urgent task for seismological department.In this study,the background and significance of research subject,the main work of domestic research status in quo,several important historical strong earthquakes in Jiujiang,seismicity and seismic geological tectonic situation are introduced,which further demonstrates the necessity and significance of seismic study in Jiujiang region,also provides some parameters for subsequent analysis and calculation.The seismic risk probability analysis method and one dimensional frequency domain equivalent linearization wave method are used for analysis and calculation.Based on a typical-III site of Jiujiang region,the response analysis model is established.Combining with the mathematical statistics,based on studying the variability of the surface ground motions parameters for different soil shear wave velocity,the corresponding influence range and tendency are analized.The influence of surface peak acceleration and characteristic period by different shear wave velocity is analyzed and summarized,and the corresponding datums are drawed.Conclusion for this study provides a reference to further development and perfection of one dimensional frequency domain equivalent linearization wave method and more reasonable determination of design ground motion parameters in Jiujiang region,and direction of further research is put forward.
