Dadu River Basin is betweenthe eastern part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the western of Sichuan.It is the largest tributary of the Minjiang River in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. Angu hydropower station is the last station of Dadu River development. The function of Angu hydropower station are power generation, flood control,shipping,irrigation and water supply.The construction of Angu Hydropower Station in Dadu River will have an impact on the ecological environment. This paper conducts an investigation on the environmental status of the valley of Angu Hydropower Station in Dadu River.Itanalyzed the main environmental problems that exist in the river basin. The last, it puts forward the measures to protect the ecological environment of the basin.It checked the status and investigate the major environmental impacts and the research factor of of Angu Hydropower Station in Dadu River. Based on the environmental rationality of Angu Hydropower Station construction scheme, it analyzed that the construction of Angu Hydropower Station will have negative effect on the wetland protection and aquatic habitat protection, and optimize the construction plan of Angu Hydropower Station. Combined with the environment of Angu Hydropower Station, using mathematical model to analyzethe ecological environment, it analyzed the offect on hydrological sedimentation, water environment, environmental geology, ecosystem and soil erosion. The results show that the river reach will stabilize after the construction of Angu Hydropower Station. The project construction has obvious influence on the local landscape ecological system, but it has limited impact on the entire area. Project construction has disturbed habitat conditions for terrestrial organisms, and it has a slight impact on the local ecological environment.This paper analyzed the influence of the construction of Angu Hydropower Station on the regional ecological environment, and put forward protective measures based on wetland ecology, aquatic ecology, terrestrial ecology, water environment and air environment. The main measures are Adjusting the backfill area, Repair the left bank wetlands, rebuilding downstream spillway wetlands, venting ecological flow, and building imitation of natural bypass. It provided scientific advice for environmental rationality of construction of Angu Hydropower Station.
