With the development of the existing economy, energy is not only meet the demand of people's life and industrial production, but on the premise of meet the basic demand for more improve the quality of electric energy. This trend is an inevitable result of social development, the global informationization is the embodiment of the rich people's living standard, the industrialized production is developed. Quickly raise level of science and technology in modern society, social and cultural civilization rapid development, the improvement of power quality is also inevitable trend. Not only can improve the efficiency of electricity and improve the use of electricity environment, also can improve the efficiency of the national economy development and the sustainable development of the industrialization. Present development trends, in order to improve the quality of electricity must be real-time monitoring and detection of electric energy, at the same time, a certain degree of control so as to achieve the purpose of improving power quality. The level of power quality and power system operation condition and the management level has a close relationship.Therefore, this paper according to the situation existing grid development, analysis of the needs of future prospects for the development of smart distribution grid is proposed to solve the problem means that distributed intelligent switching power quality detection and power load control functions.
