In the widely used permanent magnet synchronous motors(PMSMs),the five-phase PMSM has many advantages over the traditional three-phase PMSM,such as high reliability,low torque ripple and low voltage high power,so it is widely used in aerospace,deep sea submarine,military weapons,new energy vehicles and other fields.However,the five-phase PMSM drive system is complex,and needs many current sensors,which resulted in high cost,but also seriously limits the scope of its application.Therefore,in order to reduce the cost and realize high precision control of motor by reducing the number of current sensors used in the five-phase PMSM control system,this paper studies the five-phase PMSM phase current reconstruction.The main work of research is given as follows:Firstly,the five-phase PMSM is mathematically modeled.The mathematic model of the motor in the five-phase stationary coordinate system is analyzed,and the coordinate transformation matrix of the five-phase motor is deduced.The mathematical model of the five-phase motor in the two-phase rotating coordinate system is obtained,which provides the following five-phase motor vector control a theoretical basis.Secondly,the vector control algorithm of five-phase PMSM is introduced.The mathematical model of five-phase inverter and the voltage vector of five-phase inverter are introduced.The basic principle of Near Two Vector SVPWM(NTV-SVPWM)and Near Four Vectors SVPWM(NFV-SVPWM)is studied.The simulation model of NTV-SVPWM and NFV-SVPWM is built on the Simulink platform of MATLAB,and carried out the related simulation experiments.Thirdly,the principle and realization process of five-phase PMSM phase current reconstruction are mainly studied,and propose two kinds of five-phase PMSM phase current reconstruction methods: zero vector time sampling and mixed vector time sampling.The basic principle of two phase current reconstruction methods is described.On this basis,a five-phase PMSM phase current reconstruction system isdesigned and studied.Two kinds of simulation algorithms are simulated in MATLAB,and two kinds of reconstruction methods are compared and analyzed.Finally,based on TMS320F28335 DSP to construct a five-phase PMSM drive system,two five-phase PMSM phase current reconstruction methods proposed in this paper are carried out.The results show that the phase current reconstruction method proposed in this paper can accurately obtain five-phase current data,and reduce the motor drive control costs while achieving better motor performance.
