In recent years,the demand of modern industry for permanent magnet(PM)motor is higher and higher.Vibration and acoustic noise have become one of the important indexes to evaluate the performance of the motor when the vibration and acoustic noise requirements of motor are strict,the vibration and acoustic noise of PM motor can not be ignored.The research on the mechanism of the vibration and acoustic noise,the restraining measures become the hot spot.For PM motor,it is important to reduce the vibration and acoustic noise under the premise that the electromagnetic performance of the motor is invariable.Based on the 10 slot 18 pole fault tolerant flux switching permanent magnet(FT-FSPM)motor,mainly analyzes the influence of various kinds of new stator and rotor structures on vibration,acoustic noise,and electromagnetic characteristics.Firstly,based on finite element(FE)models of FT-FSPM motors,the structure parameters of motors are optimized.Secondly,the vibration,acoustic noise and electromagnetic characteristics of the motor with different structures are compared.Lastly,the new motor and the related hardware circuit are introduced,and the vibration accelerations of two motors are given for verification.The research results of this thesis include the following aspects:1.In order to reduce the vibration and acoustic noise of the existing FT-FSPM motor,and improve back electromotive force(back-EMF)waveform sinusoidal eviation,a new type of stator with double teeth structure is proposed.The erformance analyses of these two motors are made based on FE models,and the erformance analyses includ ing no-load back-EMF,torque,torque ripple,and adial force harmonic.The performance analyses of these two motors are made ased on structural mechanics analysis and acoustic simulation analysis, ncluding vibration and acoustic noise.Results show that new double fault olerant teeth FSPM motor can reduce vibration and acoustic noise,at the same ime,the electromagnetic performance of the motor can be optimized to a certain xtent.In addition,the stator teeth saturation of original motor is relatively high, hich will make the air gap magnetic field distribution of wave shape appear flat, nd the flat topped waveforms will produce low order radial force harmonics, ltimately,increase the vibration and acoustic noise of motor.So this paper puts orward a funnel shaped stator teeth to relieve partial saturation,thus reduce the ibration and acoustic noise of the FT-FSPM motor.2.In order to reduce vibration and acoustic noise of the existing FT-FSPM motor, his paper puts forward a new-type rotor with skew teeth,in which clockwise and ounterclockwise rotation will exhibit different vibration and acoustic noise.The erformance including torque,torque ripple and radial force harmonic,of both otors are analyzed based on FE model.The vibration and acoustic noise of two otor are compared based on structural mechanics analysis and acoustic imulation analysis.Results show that the motor with skew teeth rotor in lockwise rotation can greatly reduce vibration and acoustic noise at the expense f small torque cost,but vibration and acoustic noise can not be reduced in ounterclockwise rotation.This paper also analyzes the vibration and acoustic oise of two rotor-modular motors.Results show that the rotor teeth slot modular otor can greatly reduce the vibration and acoustic noise at the expense of torque. otor yoke slot modular motor can not reduce vibration and acoustic noise.3.In actual processing and installation of motor,the stator and rotor are difficult to ully align due to the limitations of processing technology and assembly accuracy. he rotor will have varying degrees of eccentricity.The influence of static ccentricity and dynamic eccentricity on vibration and acoustic noise are nalyzed in this paper.Results show that static eccentricity or dynamic ccentricity of motor will increase the vibration and acoustic noise,therefore,the ccurrence of rotor eccentricity should be avoided in the actual motor anufacturing and installation process.4.The vibration,acoustic noise and electromagnetic characteristics of FT-FSPM tors with different skew angle teeth are compared.The motor with skew teeth otor is manufactured,and the vibration measurement results of the existing T-FSPM motor and proposed skew teeth FT-FSPM motor verify the theoretical nalyses.
