Five-phase fault-tolerant flux-switching permanent(FT-FSPM)motor is a novel brushless motor having magnets in the stator with doubly-salient structure.It not only has high efficiency and high power desity as the traditional brushless motors having magnets in the rotor,but also simple rotor structure,easy for thermal dissipation and small inertia.Besides,direct torque control(DTC)is a new generation motor control strategy which has high performance.Direct torque control can control the torque indirectly in stator coordinates,and has exdivent dynamic performance.Consequently,attempt to put the direct torque control apply to the novel five-phase fault-tolerant flux-switching permanent motor,in order to promote its speed regulation performance,which will have important significance.Therefore,in this thesis,the key theoretical issues on the five phase fault-tolerant flux-switching permanent motor and studied its control performance by direct torque control.The simulated and measured results are given,verifying the effectiveness of proposed direct torque control dirve system for the five-phase fault-tolerant flux-switching permanent motor.It promotes the application of this motor.The fruits of this thesis are as follows:1.The structure and working principle of the five-phase fault-tolerant flux-switching permanent motor were firstly explained.Then analyzed its electromagnetic performances.The frequently-used models were built,and analyzed the transformations among the models.2.The stator magnetic field oritented theory of flux-switching permanent motor was introduced,it layed a foundation for the effectiveness of this motor.The basic theory and implementation method of direct torque control were analyzed.The effect of zero vector was explaned.The five-phase fault-tolerant flux-switching permanent motor direct torque control dirve system based SVPWM was studied for solving the switching frequency inconstantce of traditional direct torque control system.3.The simulation model of five-phase fault-tolerant flux-switching permanent motor direct torque control drive system was built.The starting condition and load sudden changed condition of the drive system were simulated,and the results verified that the motor can operate well by DTC strategy.4.The experimental platform based DSP and CPLD was built,and the hardware circuits were designed.The software was also designed according to circuits.The experimental results verified that the five-phase fault-tolerant flux-switching permanent motor can use the direct torque control strategy,and also has a exdivent speed regulation performance.
