There are some problems in fire test of aero engine components,such as inconsistent and incomplete flame requirements,unclear distribution of flame characteristics.To obtain a uniform standard fire test and general test conditions,reducing cost of fire test,a computational fluid dynamic of aero engine components of fire test has established.The research on flame characteristics has carried out.The distribution of flame characteristics,the influence of burner components configuration on flame characteristics and the influence of operating parameters on the flame characteristics are analyzed.The geometric model,grid model of NexGen burner established by ICEM,and the simulation model established by FLUENT.The combustion model is Non-Premixed Combustion with PDF method for the reaction of single kerosene species C12H23.The Reynolds-averaged Naiver-Stokes with SST k-ω turbulence model for resolving the turbulent behavior of flame.The discrete ordinates radiation model(DO)is used and the gas emissivity using the weighted sum of gray gasses model(WSGGM).Liquid fuel droplets interact with the turbulent gas medium in accordance with the discrete random walk model.The flame characteristics(temperature,velocity,heat flux,flame length,uniformity,shape)distribution are calculated and analyzed with Fluent.The influence of cone angle,configuration of turbulator,equivalent ratio,air flow and total flow rate on flame characteristics are analyzed.The temperature,velocity and heat flux density at Sample face-A are better than Sample face-I.With the increase of cone angle,temperature and heat flux increase,and heat flux is not uniform.The uniformity of the flame characteristics of the 16-degree cone is better than others.The flame characteristics of swirl turbulator are the most uniform,the temperature distribution is similar to FRH.When equivalence ratio is 0.9,the flame characteristic distribution is the most uniform.And the temperature of the equivalence ratio is greater than 1,which does not meet the test requirements.When the air flow is 0.05 kg/s,the flame temperature distribution is the most uniform.With the increase of the total flow rate,the flame temperature,velocity and heat flux density are increased,and the distribution law of flame temperature,velocity and heat flux is not sensitive to the total flow rate.The test sample should be placed on Sample face-A in fire test,and the equivalence ratio should be less than 1,and the equivalent ratio should around 0.9.The cone angle should not enlarged when sample size is larger than flame size.
