With the development of the magnetorheological fluid(MRF)technology,MRF damping devices based on MRF are continuously applied to various industries.The kind of semi-active control devices have the bigger advantages in intelligent control system.Mainly through applying the different currents and changing the magnetic field intensity,exerting an influence on MRF viscosity of damping channel,so as to realize the controllable damping force.Apply control technology of MR dampers to the small aircraft landing gear to generate enough controllable damping force and effectively control the happening of wheel shimmy in the nose landing gear,and achieve the goal of quickly eliminate the shimmy.Although the magnetorheological damper devices has various forms and different structures,but the design method and the working process are consistent.Based on this idea,this paper designs a built-in magnetorheological damper,used to shimmy vibration reduction on nose landing gear of a certain unmanned aerial vehicle,and completes the structure design of magnetorheological dampers,magnetic circuit design,parts processing,assembly,and the corresponding experimental research.On this basis,develops design process of magnetorheological dampers used on the nose landing gear by reference to design requirements of the traditional oil dampers and design characteristics of magnetorheological dampers,and analyzes the important parts of magnetorheological dampers in detail mainly summarized as: confirm the design requirements,determine the initial structure design,go on structure and magnetic circuit design,determine the initial structure parameters,have the software simulation and structure optimization of structure design and determine the final size,check size and strength and improve the other structure design of magnetorheological dampers.Through the good experimental results of dampers design,the design process development of magnetorheological dampers is verified the feasibility to provide reference for future design of magnetorheological dampers.With referencing to written requirement of the first part of the GB/T1.1-2000 standard structure and write rules and Combining with the design process development of magnetorheological dampers,have a normative research on the structure design of magnetorheological dampers.Specification includes range,normative reference file,terms and definitions,general rules,structure design and shimmy experiment content,structure design is the substance of design specifications,mainly from the design requirements,the structure and magnetic circuit design,material properties,design parameters,the simulation optimization and the strength and size specifications,and provide important basis for the structure design of magnetorheological dampers.
