The Engineering Design And Analysis Of Monitoring System For Lighting Surge Based On HMI

With the power distribution devices and signal systems in various sectors of the increasingly high degree of intelligence,lightning surges and operating over-voltages are becoming more and more disruptive to the associated distribution and signaling systems.To ensure the normal operation of the entire automation system,modern buildings and automation systems will be installed surge protection device to the distribution system.At present,most of the building lightning surge overvoltage protection are used in the composition of surge protection with the varistors.When it fails,if not disconnect the power distribution system immediately,it may lead to fire,resulting in more serious accidents.The state of a conventional surge protector can only be found in the event of a failure,and the inspection of a surge protector can be costly and costly for equipment maintenance and repair.For this situation,in this paper,based on the analysis of domestic conventional surge protector installation and operation of the principle of failure identification,proposed by monitoring the surge current through the surge protector of the current intensity and the number of times,combined with the operation of the surge protector leakage current and tripping alarm to alert the operating state of the surge protector and assess the remaining life,and then through the RS-485 bus and Modbus protocol summary to the terminal’s touch-screen HMI.The Hardware design includes isolation power supply,rogowski coil current acquisition,microcontroller system,LED display,and hardware watchdog circuit.The software part mainly includes intermediate value average filtering algorithm and CRC16-CCITT checking algorithm.By running the test,it can basically realize the building based on the HMI surge monitoring,early warning of the status of the surge protector.It can prompt the terminal interface of the remaining life of the surge protector.Can be used to inspect the anti-surge protection system of the building to ensure the stable operation of the building distribution system and the related system.
