In order to solve the problem that the combustion stability can not be guaranteed under the condition of the natural gas fuel diversification,and to meet the increasingly stringent requirements of the society for environmental protection emissions,it is necessary to upgrade the combustion system and control system of heavy duty gas turbine which can help to eliminate the potential safety hazard,stable combustion and achieve the standard emission.The article studies and analyzes the methods to solve the existing problems,and describes the whole process of the implementation of the application.The article discusses the significance of the system upgrade to solve the problems of combustion stability and environmental emissions under fuel diversity.In the first part,the development and application of heavy duty gas turbine and its control system are introduced.The second part,through the economic comparison before and after the system upgrade and the research of realistic problems of the original combustion system and control system,and the evaluation of project effect,it comes to the conclusion of the necessity and feasibility of the upgrading of combustion system and control system.The third part introduces the heavy gas turbine process and principle,structure and technical features of new combustion system,and its’ effect to combustion stability and reducing NOx emission,and analyses the comparative advantages of DLN2.0+ system and the original combustion system,and expounds the system architecture,advanced control algorithm and system advantages of the upgraded combustion control system.At last,the principle and method of the design of wobbe index control technology are studied.The fourth part describes the upgrade content,construction,commissioning,start-up and combustion adjustment process for the combustion system and control system upgrade project.In the fifth part,the actual operation effect,the economic benefits and social benefits of the system upgrade are introduced.The results show that: within the use of the most advanced equipment and control system,plus the Wobbe index control technology,the upgrading system has been greatly improved in the fuel adaptability,environmental emmision and combustion stability,and achieved good economic and social benefits.
