As the accelerating process of Urban-rural integration,the traffic system of rail transit is expanding rapidly for it's trait,efficiency?high speed?friendly environment.Compared with the underground lines,the elevated lines have the advantages of low cost,short construction period and low operating cost.They are suitable for construction in the suburbs,and the proportion in recent years has increased year by year.Most elevated stations set up air-conditioning in the station hall but platform.Because of the long summer,high temperature and humidity,waiting area of large flow of people,personnel-intensive,thermal environment is usually poor in hot summer and warm winter areas.On the other hand,the platform layer and outdoor connectivity,indoor and outdoor air exchange frequent,and staff stay in the platform for a short time,the requirements of thermal comfort and conventional building room is different.It is a matter of concern and research to create a comfortable thermal environment of the waiting areas.This paper first carries on the field research to the elevated stations of Guangzhou,Shenzhen,Taipei,Kaohsiung and Shanghai,summarizes the characteristics of each city elevated station.From the perspective of building energy conservation and thermal environment to analysis the design and operation status of the building and summarizes and classifies from the aspects of architectural form,shading and skylight form and cooling facilities.According to the research and analysis,choosing four elevated line station in Guangzhou for study,Shiqi Station,Tanwei Station,Jiaokou Station and Shabei Station.Testing a few parameter such as air temperature?air relative humidity and wind velocity etc in different place of the platform.There are some questionnaire from the passengers who is asked for the comfortable feeling and satisfaction of the platform.From the objective and subjective aspects of the elevated station platform thermal environment of the status quo,as well as different architectural forms and design elements on the thermal environment and thermal comfort.The study found that good ventilation is the most important factor in ensuring comfort.Platform construction should avoid the choice of closed type,and semi-open type is the most suitable form which is good for ventilation and shade.Open type should focus on shade and rain measures.Using correlative simulation software like Phoenics,Ecotect,etc to analysis the thermal environment,light environment and other impact factors.It is found that the most important factor affecting the thermal environment of the elevated station is the aspect ratio of the side wall opening area,and further optimize the design elements such as the building style,the hole size,the skylight form and the fan setting,etc.Finally,synthesizing resurvey result,there are some suggestion about how to optimize the the platform of elevated station in hot summer and warm winter areas.For example,like “Zhuliao” station,which build up middle station,use some of the suggestion in the build.
