Moisture content as a significant influencing factor affecting the passive cooling effect of the permeable pavement,it is very important to realize the rapid and accurate measurement of it.In this paper,the microwave moisture test system was used as the main technical means to study the moisture content of permeable pavement in hot and humid areas.The main research works are as follows:(1)The calibration method of moisture content of permeable pavement material was studied.The methods of indoor calibration and outdoor calibration were studied.Outdoor test to verify the calibration results of indoor method and outdoor method.The results showed that the indoor method was fast and has a very good fit but not suitable for outdoor test.The outdoor method was time-consuming and affected by the outdoor climate but it could meet the requirements of outdoor test because the climate condition was close to the test condition.(2)The hot-humid climate wind tunnel(HCWT)calibration method was studied.The position of the specimen was determined,the selection of the input meteorological condition was studied and verified the calibration results of the HCWT method with outdoor test.The results showed that the HCWT method could get the calibration results for outdoor testing undered the suitable weather parameter input conditions and the calibration results could be very close to that of outdoor calibration,and the HCWT method more operable than the outdoor method.(3)This paper made a preliminary comparative study on the evaporation practice and surface temperature between the samples of permeable pavement common construction practice(CCP)and domestic atlas practice(DAP).The results showed that the water storage capacity and the total evaporation of the CCP sample are larger than that of the DAP sample,and the CCP sample's surface temperature was always lower than the DAP sample's.A continuous observation of the DAP sample was doing,and multiple linear regression analysis was carried out.The results showed tha surface water content(Ws)and solar radiation(Sr)had a significant impact on the hourly evaporation rate of pavement specimen,and air temperature(Ta),relative humidity(RH),wind speed(Va),specimen surface temperature(Tsurf)could be ignored.Ta and Sr had a significant effect on the surface temperature of the specimen and Ws has a certain influence on the surface temperature of the specimen.The influence of RH,Va and overall evaporation could be neglected.The results showed that the microwave moisture test system could be used in the permeable pavement outdoor moisture content test.This paper provided a reference for the future test of moisture content of pavement through the study.
