| Industrialization is the direction for construction of the residential buildings.The assembled pre-cast shear wall structural system is suitable for Chinese condition.A new type of assembled pre-cast shear wall with vertical joints was presented.The types of its vertical joints include welded plate(WP)and welded along the edges of the end plate(WEEP).Compared with common assembled pre-cast shear wall,the new one can simplify the assembly process without wet construction and shorten the construction period.In order to put the new pre-cast shear wall with vertical joints into the application of industrialization,this paper conducted an experimental study on its seismic performance and its design method.The main research work and results are outlined as follow:1)7 specimens of pre-cast shear wall with vertical joints and one specimen of cast-in-place shear wall as comparison were manufactured and quasi-static tests were carried out.The main parameters were the longitudinal reinforcement ratio,the anchor plate with flange or not,the anchor plate in notch extended into the pre-cast shear wall or not and the number of connection.2)Key performance of the specimens,such as the failure modes,the load-deformation relationship,the stiffness,the deformability and ductility,the bearing capacity,the energy dissipation capacity etc.were analysed.The test results show that the longitudinal reinforcement ratio and the anchor plate with flange or not influenced the failure mode and the seismic performance of pre-cast shear wall with vertical joints a lot rather than the types of vertical joints.The anchor plate in notch extended into the pre-cast shear wall can improve the deformability of the pre-cast shear wall with vertical joints.3)The test results show that pre-cast shear wall possess similar performance to cast-inplace shear wall with the same small longitudinal reinforcement ratio,a similar bearing capacity and a little stronger deformability,ductility and energy dissipation capacity,but a little smaller initial stiffness.4)Based on the test,the mechanical model of the shear wall with vertical joints specimens was deduced.According to the model,the initial stiffness relative to cast-in-place shear wall specimen was calculated,which is in good agreement with experimental results.5)Based on the failure modes and the mechanical model internal forces,the corresponding bearing capacity formulas from current specifications are in good agreement with experimental results.6)Based on continuous link analysis(CLA)method and finite element analysis(FEA)method,a parametric analysis on multi-storey and high-rise structural performance of pre-cast shear wall with vertical joints was carried out,which main parameters were the span of connections,the height of connections,the thickness of connections,the strength grade of concrete and the number of conncetions.According to the parametric analysis results and the seismic bearing capacity formula,a method for the determination of vertical joints parameters was proposed.In this paper,research results will supply experimental data and theoretical basis for seismic-bearing capacity calculation and design method of the shear walls with vertical joints.The research is of reference significance for engineering design and practice. |
