The olivine LiMPO4?M=Fe,Mn,Co and Ni?phosphates have been widely investigated as potential cathodes for lithium-ion batteries due to their large theoretical capacities,excellent cycle life and fewer safety issues.The LiFePO4-P and LiFePO4-C cathode nanomaterials were prepared by solvothermal method.Among them,the unit-cell Volume of LiFePO4-P is smaller.The internal structure of LiFePO4-P material is more stable.The LiMnPO4 nanoparticles are synthesized using water and ethylene glycol solution,respectively.Ethylene glycol acts as a reducing agent and controls the particle size of the sample.LiMnPO4/C nanocomposites were prepared by spray-drying method.LiMnPO4 with carbon could greatly improve the cycling stability of the materials.The LiFe1-xMnxPO4 material prepared by spray drying had better electrochemical performance,smaller charge transport Li3V2PO4 cathode material was prepared by three different methods,and the electrochemical performance of lithium vanadium phosphate synthesized by sol-gel method was the best.The products were tested by XRD,SEM,EDS and EIS.
