Aerospace electrical connector is one of the most unreliable military electronic components,and processing technology has become an important factor leading to poor connector reliability.Small hole slot processing as a typical electrical co nnector processing technology,due to its current processing of cutting tools and processing parameters of the lack of research,resulting in small hole groove processing quality is difficult to be guaranteed,a direct impact on the electrical connector pe rformance and reliability.CNC machine tool is to achieve such a small hole within the fine,difficult to process an important means.The increase of CNC machine tools,the research on CNC technology is also increasingly urgent.Guilin Aerospace Technologi es Co.,Ltd.set up a CNC technology group in 2016,to strengthen the NC processing technology,cutting tools,process parameters of the study to solve the NC machining problems encountered.In this paper,a typical CNC machining process-small hole slot processing,for example,from cutting tools and cutting process parameters in two aspects,to carry out numerical control processing optimization of the exploratory study.Firstly,start the aerospace electrical connector hole processing process analysis.The influence of machining quality on the insulation resistance and contact performance of the electrical connector is analyzed.At the same time,the cutting force and roughness of small hole are analyzed,and the influence of workpiece material,cutting parameters and tool geometry on cutting force and roughness is studied.The cutting force prediction method is studied,and the tool design and process parameters are optimized for reference.Secondly,from the overall structure,tool material and coating,shape parameters of three aspects of small hole groove machining tool design research.Which through research and comparison of foreign manufacturers of similar tools,combined with my production experience to determine the design of small hole slotted to ol shape parameters.Focusing on the use of finite element simulation analysis method,the optimization of the slot in the small hole and the design of the handle.Thirdly,the optimization of the machining parameters of the inner hole of the aerospace electrical connector is carried out.From the process line,NC programming,process parameters and other aspects of optimal design.The orthogonal design method is used to determine the optimal combination of process parameters.Finally,based on the optimization of the design of the tool and the combination of process parameters to small holes for the object to verify the study.The appearance of the workpiece,the type of chip,the inspection of the tool wear,and the electrical parameters related to the electrical connector are tested.The results show that the optimized machining parameters are improved,the machining capacity of the small hole is improved,the whole cutting process is more stable and reliable,and its quality can meet the processing requirements of the electrical connector.
