| The systematic study on retractable roof is still in its infancy at home and abroad.A technical specification is under preparation to accelerate the development of this novelty structure form.Due to retractable roof in opened or closed state and opening or closing process, more factors should be considered compared with normal roofs. So the snow drifting test and numerical simulation were carried out to investigate the snow distribution on typical retractable roofs. Then a numerical model based on ABAQUS for the study on dynamic response of snow guards under snow downfall was established. The numerical simulation model of wind-induced snow drifting is developed. And the simplified method based on one-way coupled have good simulation results of the peak position and extremum of snow deposition. And the k-ε turbulent model have good suitability and effectiveness.Compared with field measurements, the computational results of snow distribution show good agreement with the experimental data.Considering that similarity parameters is focused on the reliable simulation of the drifting volume,The model of wind induced snow drifting by using artificial snow is established to analyze the characteristics of snow distribution with different parameters including open-close states, wind speed and wind directions.Comparing with the numerical simulation results, the region of the accumulation of snow is out-of true, but the snow distribution pattern agrees well.Numerical simulation research on three kinds of retractable roofs shows that the roof height only affects the snow distribution of local region. And rise span ratio is the key factor affecting the snow distribution, which determines the shape of the roof directly. This paper analyzed the impact of the partial snow sliding on the roof and studied the performance of one kind of snow guards. The study shows that the damage pattern of snow guards is the plastic bending deformation. And the snow guards with clamp has poor appearance in standing snow-impact,Some optimization suggestions about the clamp were proposed. |
