Since modern times people predatory non-renewable energy development and utilization, so that these sharp increase in energy consumption, but also to bring incalculable damage to the environment, and now it has been recognized the seriousness of these issues, so the green concept increasingly been recognized more countries and regions, the use of wind resources has become an important research topic of 2020, the total installed capacity of wind power is expected to reach 200 million kilowatts goals.Throughout the whole wind power generation system, the direct drive permanent magnet synchronous wind power generation system has been one of the hot spots in recent years. The main reason is that it not only has high reliability, but also because of its high efficiency and simple structure, therefore it has become an important and hot topic in the research on control strategy.This paper first discusses the classification of wind turbines, and describes the current status of the research on the fault ride through(including low pressure and high pressure) of the direct drive permanent magnet synchronous generator. The second part of the three kinds of direct drive permanent magnet synchronous wind power generation system D-PMSG operation mode, namely, shutdown mode generator control mode,variable pitch control model, the mathematical model is established on this basis, the mathematical model of the machine side and the grid side converter. In this paper, the conventional control strategy, the machine side and the grid side converter control strategy are discussed in this paper, and the control strategy is simulated and verified by MATLAB software. The fourth part is the focus of this paper, on the base of analyzing the transient process of power failure of direct drive wind power generation system,discusses various low-voltage direct drive permanent magnet synchronous wind power system through the control strategy, including energy and energy storage type Crowbar circuit protection scheme and network side converter the reactive power support strategy based on. In a comprehensive and summary of conventional control strategy as the basis, further refine the crossing control strategy and using MATLAB software simulation to improve the relative to the permanent magnet wind power system voltage.Finally this paper describes the direct drive permanent magnet synchronous wind powergeneration system(High Voltage Ride Through through HVRT) control strategy, focus strategy through the dual mode control of direct drive permanent magnet synchronous wind power system based on voltage.
