As one of the commonly used cooling equipment of air conditioning system.In recent years it was more and more used to provide cooling capacity to buildings in winter and intermediate season.But many manufacturers who produce the cooling tower only provide users with design parameters and thermodynamic performance curve only based on summer conditions which the Wet bulb temperature range usually only from 20°C to 35 °C.Only few manufacturer can offer cooling tower thermal performance curve under lower wet bulb temperature.However,in addition to the cooling tower itself running parameters,outdoor meteorological parameters could affect the performance of the cooling tower as well,When the outdoor air wet bulb temperature,dry bulb temperature and relative humidity parameter changes,The thermal performance of cooling tower itself will change and Off-design condition.However,such matters has not cause manufacturers attention and concern.Even when cooling tower is running under the rated conditions such as transition season or winter,they still habitually to use summer cooling tower runtime related sample technical parameters for adjustment and evaluation of the cooling tower.This leads to a large energy consumption or make the cooling tower can not achieve the desired effect.In order to study the running performance of cooling tower in winter and intermediate season and relevant factors of the changes,In this paper,use The method of experimental simulation to study the running performance of Cooling tower in winter and intermediate season.And study the change trend of cooling tower through the change of cooling water flow rate,air flow rate and spray water flow.Use these evaluation criteria to analyze how these changes affect the performance of the cooling tower.Finally based on the analysis above,I give out an answer of Whether it's appropriate for cooling tower to use in winter and intermediate season and the selection of related parameters.By analyzing the experimental data can know that The refrigerating capacity of the coolingtower in winter season transition run time significantly less than in summer,With the variation of other parameters the refrigerating capacity swings between 40% to 70% of the refrigerating capacity in the summer.When outdoor wet bulb temperature is 4°C or below,the outlet Cooling water temperature can reach 9 °C.If adjust the air flow,we need to increase air flow,and the maximum air volume is 1.4 times of the standard values.The relative refrigerating capacity of the cooling tower can be amounted to 58% of summer refrigerating capacity.But the corresponding coefficient of energy consumption will be small.Only 32% of the summers.If adjust the water flow,we need to reduce the import water flow of cooling water,and the maximum water volume is 79.4% of the standard values.The relative refrigerating capacity of the cooling tower can be amounted to 45% of summer refrigerating capacity.The corresponding coefficient of energy consumption is 45% In transition seasons if the cooling water outlet temperature selected as 15 ?,import and export water temperature is 3 ?.the relative cooling amount of cooling tower can reach to 55%,the relative energy consumption coefficient is 50%?If adjust the water flow,we need to adjust the capacity of cooling water is 94% of the rated flow.relative refrigerating capacity of the cooling tower can be amounted to 55%,he corresponding coefficient of energy consumption is54%.
