Planetary gear box usually works in the harsh environment.The failure of the gear in the planetary gear box is one of the principal causes of all kinds of faults.On-line monitoring and fault diagnosis technology applied on the planetary gear box operation can effectively prevent major accidents and reduce the maintenance cost of the machine.Research on the dynamic model of planetary gear and the fault characteristics has important significance.1.Dynamic analysis of planetary gear.The three-dimensional model of the planetary gearbox was built by CATIA software.The vibration mode of planetary gearbox was analyzed by softwareANSYS.Consider different degree of gear fault effect on gear mode,and made a transient dynamics analysis of gear meshing in different fault conditions to analyse the stress distribution on the fault gear.2.Dynamic simulation of planetary gear.Building the dynamic model of the planetary gearbox based on software ADAMS,then analyzing its multi-body dynamics simulation is to obtain the frequency spectra of torque variation of the input shaft of the planetary gearbox with variousstates.In the obtained frequency spectra,the corresponding features,including therotating frequency,meshing frequency and failure frequency of planetary gearbox,diagnose the fault and fault type of planetary gearbox,are achieved.Finally,the simulation results are validated by comparing with the related theory.3.Fault diagnosis of planetary gear based on torsional vibration signal.Built the experimental platform of planetary gear box fault diagnosis,then the torsional vibration signals sampled from the platform are applied in the thesis.By comparingthe spectra of reciprocating vibration signals withthese of the torsional vibration signals,the results show that the torsional vibration signals were more suitable for the fault diagnosis of a planetary gear train than the reciprocating vibration signals.A fault diagnosis method for torsion vibration signal based on maximum correlated kurtosis deconvolution(MCKD)was proposed,because the strength of torsion vibration signals is weak and the impact characteristics are not obvious.Impact characteristics of the torsion vibration signal of planetary gearbox received a significant promotion by MCKD.The method to reduce the noise component of the torsion vibration signal and improve the cycle impact fault characteristics is effective.It is appropriate for the fault diagnosis of torsion vibration signals of planetary gearboxes.
