In recent years,linear motor with high performance and low cost has become a research hotspot in the linear long stroke field.The power factor and efficiency of the linear induction motor is low.When applied in long stroke application,the permanent magnet linear motor requires much more permanent magnet and leads to high cost.And thrust density of the common stator permanent magnet linear motor is not high.Based on the magnetic gear effect,the Vernier permanent magnet(VPM)motor improves the torque / thrust density.Traditional VPM motor has long stroke and high cost,only the stator vernier permanent magnet motor can reduce the cost,but the power factor of the VPM motor is generally low,hindering its engineering application.In the existing VPM motor,only one kind of double stator VPM motor can improve the power factor,but the PMs are set on the rotor,which is not suitable for the linear long stroke application.This paper proposes a novel double-side linear Vernier permanent-magnet(DS-LVPM)motor,the bilateral primary VPM motor has the advantages of high thrust density,high power factor and high efficiency,which can be applied to the long stroke application of and the cost is low.The main research results of this paper include the following aspects: 1 explain the relationship between the VPM motor and the magnetic gear motor,study the working principle of the VPM motor with the help of the magnetic gear analysis method,explain the principle of the magnetic field modulation,and verify it with the air gap magnetic flux density and harmonic analysis.2 Compare and analyze the leakage situation of the common permanent magnet motor and VPM motor magnetic,explain the relationship between inductance and leakage magnetic flux,VPM motor low power factor combined with power factor calculation formula.3 analyze the magnetic circuits of existing dual stator VPM motor,explains the design thought of the novel motor,propose the novel DS-LVPM motor,introduce the motor structure and winding connection,analyze the flux,magnetic leakage,modulation principle to explain the working principle.4 propose the programmable design method of the motor,determine the slot pole combinations of the motor and the optimal combination is selected as the prototype plan,optimize the parameters to get the final design parameters of the prototype model.5 carry out the finite element analysis of the final prototype based on the Ansoft Maxwell software,the no-load back EMF,cogging force,thrust force,loss and other electromagnetic performance,calculate the thrust density,power factor and efficiency to preliminary verify the design purpose.6 the prototype and the experimental platform are built to test the back electromotive force,resistance and inductance of the motor at different speeds to verify simulation results.
