Micro burners have many unique features compared to conventional burners.Compared with the gas fuel,liquid fuel has the advantages of high density,small volume and high safety,but the combustion process is more complicated.Most of the research is still in the exploratory stage.The research of liquid fuel micro-scale combustion theory and new micro-burner is in the ascendant.On the basis of studying the theory of micro-scale combustion of liquid fuels,the liquid ethanol micro-scale combustion system and flame visualization measurement system are designed and constructed.By varying the burner diameter and adjusting the fuel supply flow,we can generate the small scale combustion process of different properties.Based on the principle of light deflection CT sampling,the micro-scale flame and the light deflected moire fringe sequence image can be obtained simultaneously.The light deflection projection information is extracted by using the image processing technique based on wavefront recovery.Multi-section combustion temperature distribution is contributed using inverse Abel transform algorithm,and then using visualization toolkit technology to achieve the dynamic body visualization of the combustion temperature field.The dynamic structure visualization analysis of the micro-scale flame structure and the temperature field shows that when the burner diameter is constant,the flame height,width and peak temperature increase with the increasing of the fuel flow in the stable combustion stage.In the oscillation combustion stage,with the increasing of fuel flow,the flame height and width gradually increase,and the peak temperatureincreases firstly and then decreases,and the flame oscillation cycle decreases with the increasing of fuel flow.When the fuel flow is constant,the flame height has nothing to do with the flame width and the burner diameter,and the flame temperature increases with the increasing of the burner diameter,and the flame oscillation cycle decreases with the decreasing of the diameter.The research results of this paper provide the basic scientific basis for the research of the micro-scale combustion theory and the design of the new micro-burner and micro-power electromechanical system,which can help to solve the hot issues related to power machinery,microelectronics information,biomedicine and other areas.
