The bird strike has become one of the important factors of the civil aircraft safety.Considering of the composite structures are more and more widely used in the modern civil aircraft,the numerical simulation analysis and experimental research of the bird strike of the composite sandwich panels with honeycomb cores are carried out.Based on the statistic analysis of the report data of domestic bird collision in recent twenty years,this paper analyzes the airworthiness requirements of CCAR / FAR / CS 25.571,25.631 and 25.775,which are related to bird strike.The connotation and safety intention of the airworthiness requirements are discussed.The domestic and abroad airworthiness requirements of bird striking are compared,and the differences are carried out.Based on the previous experimental data of bird strike on aluminum panel target,the finite element model was established by PAM-CRASH,and the FEM model was validated.Utilizing the validated model,the finite element model of bird body was studied.Through the design of the impact test,the impact load characteristics of the cylindrical gelatin bird body and the ball bird body were studied by designing the gelatin body impact sensor test.The finite element model of the gelatin bird body is validated,and the results show that the simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental results.The composite honeycomb sandwich panel was designed according to the composite leading edge structure.The dynamic response of composite honeycomb panels with different sandwich thickness was obtained under the same gelatin bird impact.Based on the experimental data,the dynamic characteristics of the impact dynamics induced by the fluid solid coupling process between the bird and the honeycomb sandwich panel were studied by PAM-CRASH.The modeling method for composite honeycomb sandwich panels under the impact of bird is explored.Based on the finite element model of honeycomb sandwich panel,the dynamic energy absorption characteristics of honeycomb sandwich panel were analyzed by parametric analysis.The conclusions of this paper have a certain reference value for airworthiness verification of bird strike of aircraft composite sandwich structure.
