The operation of power system and its load are varied,as a control and protection device of high voltage circuit breaker(HVCB),demands for various of requirements to ensure the safe operation of the grid,like the electrical properties,mechanical properties,opening and closing capacity and its environmental conditions.However,a high degree of reliability is the most basic requirement for HVCB.Usually,the lifetime of circuit breaker(CB)is about 20-40 years,and normally,CB kept in closing condition.Even in the case of the grid failure also needs the CB work normally.With the increase of running time,some parts of CB are aging and damaging constantly,such as the mechanical wear and contact wear,which will all result in the failure of CB.Once the CB can not work normally,it will cause harm to the grid.This paper taking ABB 12 kV iVD4 intelligent vacuum circuit breaker(VCB)as the research object,on-line monitoring and fault diagnosis research were carried out.Firstly,by taking mechanical life testing for VCB,and combined with distribution characteristics of mechanical life estimation assessments which are random and fuzzy,triangular fuzzy variables is introduced,the random fuzzy distribution function of VCB mechanical life estimation assessments is obtained by using the method of curve fitting,finally,the residual mechanical life model of VCB based on the double uncertain conditions is established.Test result shows that the proposed model can assess the mechanical lifetime of VCB objectively and effectively.Secondly,dynamic model of VCB is established,energy distribution principle is analyzed and energy distribution mathematical model is set up.Established dynamics model of VCB and then doing dynamics simulation based on the actual working condition of VCB.In order to obtain the low of motion parameters of VCB,fully analysed the failure of single fault of closing spring,opening spring,damper,parts loosening and jam faults.Finally,through taking fault simulation experiments,this paper introduces fault analysis based on CB closing coil current signal.By studying the dynamic changeprocess of CB coil and mechanical jamming,as well as the typical fault of CB coil current signal characteristics,such lays a foundation for realizing intelligent fault diagnosis of VCB.
