| As the city grows larger and larger in size, the mountainous regions in it are being utilized and become the main source of construction, and this is more and more prevalent and common.A mountainous region architectural design which fits in the geographical condition of a specific place means a lot to the development of a city.Road intersection is like the essential node within a city, and how the buildings around the intersection are designed impacts not only the aesthetics and comfortableness of the city, but to a great extent impacts the transportation safety. The design of mountain road intersection, which derives from the conditions above mentioned, needs to deal with the sophisticated land forms and roads with large slope due to the limit of three-dimensional space. Thus a comprehensive design and research are demanded.Among all the sophisticated land forms, the acute angle intersection, with its narrow topography and higher base elevation difference,is one of the most difficult one,so it demands even more urgently the related research guidance. When it comes to actual construction, when the urban planning administration,as well as the restrictions on the architectural form, and the condition limits are taking into consideration, the architectural design of acute angle mountain road intersection is even harder. At present, domestic and foreign scholars have done a lot of researches on mountainous architectural design, road intersection design, and deformed road intersection design. However, researches about the architectural design of mountain road intersection, particularly the architectural design of acute angle mountain road intersection,is rare. Thus, this paper will offer an optimized design strategy of the acute angle mountain road intersection under the three major restrictions: long narrow terrain, large terrain elevation difference and urban design guidelines.Through literature induction, field research, analysis and comparison,as well as graphic analysis, the author firstly sums up the major restrictions of acute angle mountain road intersection under the traffic, terrain and city environment limits, which include long narrow terrain, large terrain elevation difference and control of architectural forms. Then the paper will talk about the problems the three restrictions bring about to the functional layout, the traffic organization and the form facilities. Finally, based on the above mentioned discussion, the author will offer an optimized architectural design strategy, which suggests a left-right partitions and a functional layout segmentation design. The author further suggests that the urban planning administration have a more in-depth and far-sighted attitude toward city designing. There are seven chapters in this paper.Chapter one is the basic part, which contains the background, targets, purposes and significance of this study.Chapter two includes field investigation and analysis,in which the author analyzes the environmental characteristics of acute angle mountain road intersection, and together with the statistics of the field research, the author confirms the theoretical analysis and works out the three restrictions of the acute angle mountain road intersection(long narrow terrain, large terrain elevation difference and urban design guidelines),and how they can influence the architectural design. In Chapter three, four and five, the author puts forward an adaptability strategy of architectural design under the three restrictions of the acute angle mountain road intersection from the aspects of urban planning administration, architectural functional layout, traffic organization around the building, and architectural form design.Chapter six is about the practical case that verifies the influences of the three restrictions on the acute angle mountain road intersection, and the application of the strategy the author proposes.Chapter seven is the conclusion and expectation of the paper. |
