The bidirectional DC-DC converter occupies a crucial place in electric vehicles,DC micro-grids,UPS and battery fields.High frequency,high efficiency and high power density of the bidirectional DC-DC converter are the most popular spots in the current research,which the dual-active-bridge converter plays an important role in these fields.Based on the traditional series resonant dual-active-bridge DC-DC converter topology,the topology proposed in this paper provides a new type of dual-tank series resonant dual-active-bridge DC-DC converter,compared with the traditional converter,the topology proposed in this paper puts forward the topology not by increasing the complexity of circuit,but joining asymmetric tap transformer,which can enhance the overall scope of soft switching,circuit transmission power and voltage conversion ratio.Firstly,a dual-tank series resonant dual-active-bridge circuit is presented,and then the work process in stages and steady state characteristics of the circuit are analyzed orderly,and compared with conventional resonant dual-active-bridge converter in the output average power and voltage conversion ratio.Fllowing all above,the dual-tank series resonant dual-active-bridge converter equal curves of current is put forward.After analyzing,the range of ZVS of three types of topology will be compared,and the resonant parameter,proposing control strategy will be designed.According to the analysis,the author sets up a simulation platform and experimental prototype of traditional and the improved series resonant dual-active-bridge converter.Validating the correctness of theoretical analysis by using the simulation and experimental results.
