Ultrasound is closely related to our life.It is widely used non-destructive testing methods of important in science,engineering,medical field.Ultrasonic detection system can send pulse adjustable and set multi-sampling frequency and programmable gain,which has great significance to ultrasonic detection technology.However,there is currently not the ultrasonic detection system which with multi-parameter emission pulse adjustable,multi-sampling frequency and programmable gain.In order to overcome this defect,this paper develops and designs the portable variable excitation and multi-sampling rate and programmable gain ultrasonic detection system with FPGA as the core.Firstly,for the shortcomings of ultrasonic detection system are adjustable parameters are single and range is small,the hardware frame of ultrasonic detection system which portable and variable excitation based on FPGA is designed.According to the basic function requirements and technical parameters of the ultrasonic testing system,the main functions of the modular hardware are described.The system of the adjustable high-voltage excitation pulse of the launch hardware circuit,the adjustable magnification and sampling rate of receiving hardware circuit,FPGA system control and USB data transmission hardware circuit was designed in detail.And then determine the ultrasonic circuit system hardware circuit structure and software interface.Secondly,in order to realize the control and parameter adjustment of the hardware circuit function of the ultrasonic detection system,a software program of variable excit ation ultrasonic detection system with FPGA as the core is developed.According to the hardware circuit and software interface of the system,the control function and parameter adjustment range of the software module are analyzed.The software control of the ultrasonic detection system is realized by designing the FPGA internal module of the adjustable parameters of the pulse trigger wave software,adjustable gain and data sampling rate receiving software,the system control and data processing software,the data transmis-sion and the USB communication software in detail.Finally,the technical parameters of the variable excitation ultrasonic testing system based on FPGA are tested and verified.According to the ultrasonic detection system hardware circuit design and production of PCB,build test platform.Through the ultrasonic detection of the PC software to send frame protocol command word were set to different excitation pulse waveform parameters and receiver module different magnification and different sampling rate for system testing.And use the oscilloscope automatic edge capture function and the PC to view the excitation pulse waveforms under different parameters and the ultrasonic echo waveform,to complete the test and results analysis.
