Closed gas-insulated switchgear,namely GIS equipment,its small footprint,high reliability has been increasingly used in modern power system.Currently,on-line monitoring and fault diagnosis equipment insulation internal GIS has become an increasingly important research topic.GIS electrical equipment in the most common failure is characterized by the breakdown of local insulation completely before discharge.GIS is currently used equipment partial discharge detection methods are mainly ultra-high frequency detection,ultrasonic detection and SF6 gas decomposition product analysis method,various methods have their own characteristics and shortcomings.In this paper,the advantages and disadvantages of various methods,were the focus of analysis.This paper introduces the basic background to run a combination of a gas-insulated electrical equipment,specifically GIS equipment affect its operation often occur various hidden faults on the power system,and GIS equipment typical failure analysis,to clarify the cause of PD in GIS and classification.And reviewed the status quo at home and abroad for GIS Partial Discharge Fault monitoring technology.Then describes the relevant principles GIS partial discharge monitoring of electrical equipment,partial discharge causes a clear,in-depth analysis of typical GIS technology to monitor fault diagnosis,fault diagnosis GIS for the subsequent analysis prepare theoretical groundwork.Further in-depth study of a variety of typical GIS fault diagnosis technology,including GIS PD ultrasonic testing,UHF PD detection,SF6 component analysis and other techniques.By combining Failure Case GIS actual operation,the effectiveness of the application of various detection techniques to study each other with examples and principles.Finally,the full analysis of the contents of the summary and outlook,indicating the completion of the research and the problems,and summarize the proposed next priority,and points out the need to improve other areas.
