Electric vehicles are an important direction for the development of new energy vehicles.Battery is the power source of electric vehicles and it relates to the overall performance of electric vehicles.The battery management system is the key to ensure reliable and safe operation of the battery.At present,the research on battery management system can be described as numerous.However,they mainly focus on the estimation of battery performance and the key functions of the battery management system.Also,they lack of solving the application of battery management system problems of the perspective of Engineering practice.These reasons limit the rapid application of control algorithm strategy which related to the battery management.This thesis gives a comprehensive introduction of the research results achieved by the author on the development of the battery management system.Specifically,the development platform of the battery management system based on configuration from perspective of Engineering practice is built in this thesis:First of all,this thesis proposes to use the idea of configuration to design the development platform of the battery management.The configuration has been widely used in industrial control,which provides a flexible way to accomplish from the creation to concrete realization of the algorithm.The idea of configuration is added to the design of the development platform of the battery management system in this thesis.In this way,users do not need to understand too much of the programming details,then can realize the control algorithm strategy which associated with the battery management system.Secondly,for the actual demand of the battery management system,the hardware of the development platform is designed in this thesis.Specifically,the hardware of the development platform includes a battery protection board that meets the needs of the actual application and a main control board with characteristics of heterogeneous network.Through the above design,the development platform described in this thesis not only has the basic functions required for the battery management system,but also has the characteristics of heterogeneous network.Thirdly,the idea of configuration is added to the design of the software of the development platform in this thesis.The design of the software of the development platform is divided into two parts,one part that is designed in the host computer mainly realizes the parser of configuration graphics,another part that is designed in the battery management system mainly realizes the interpreter of description language.Through the software of platform,users only need to create configuration graphics,then can realize the specific control algorithm strategy in the way of engineering practices.Finally,a test system for the development platform is also built in this thesis.Verifying the feasibility of the development platform through some experiment that is done in this test system.The test results show that the features of the development platform meet the expected requirements.
