Technology Research On Silicone Bonnet Elastic Polishing

In recent years,curved optical components are used in various optical systems widely,bonnet polishing as a new method of polishing,used in curved surface polishing optical components more and more.Bonnet polishing with the elastic bonnet as the polishing tool,it can be efficient and high-quality,and broad prospects for application.Based on the principle of bonnet polishing,this paper studies the polishing tool and movement mode of bonnet polishing.Basing on the Preston equation and using Matlab to simulate the material removal function of convex spherical element.The polishing parameters optimization is the key to bonnet polishing,so it is important to adjust the parameters during the processing.In this paper,the silica gel bonnet to polish the optical components,mainly on adjusting the process parameters and obtaining the reasonable combination,which can provide the basic process parameters.
