Double wall fabric inflatable plate is new inflatable structure,has been widely used in sports on the surfboard,inflatable boats,and the application in the special field of construction is possible.However,the mechanical Performance of this new structure are not clear,hinder the application of this structure to promote.In this paper,the double wall fabric inflatable plate studied on experimental research and numerical simulation analysis.The influence of the plate thickness,internal pressure and membrane thickness of the Double Wall Fabric on the stiffness of the double wall fabric inflatable plate is studied.The formula of mid-span deflection is obtained by means of theoretical analysis and Polynomial fitting method.Double wall fabric inflatable plate is applied to the design of the Special roof panel to study the mechanical property of this new structure.Firstly,the elastic constants of the double wall fabric membrane were obtained by tensile test.The experimental study on the unidirectional plate supported by the two ends is carried out to obtain the load deflection curve of mid-span and wrinkling load and ultimate load under different internal pressure.Secondly,the finite element model of the same size is established,and the numerical simulation results are compared with the experimental results.The correctness of the finite element model is proved by the two aspects of the wrinkle load and the load deflection curve of mid-span.Then the formula of the wrinkling load is deduced,and the formula of the wrinkling load is verified by the finite element model.The effects of the thickness of the double wall fabric inflatable plate,the internal pressure and the thickness of the membrane on the stiffness of the double wall fabric are studied.The relationship between the equivalent shear modulus and the internal pressure in the deflection formulas obtained by Polynomial fitting method.And the formula for the mid-span deflection has been checked.Finally,double wall fabric inflatable plate is applied to the design of the Special roof panel to study the maximum displacement and maximum displacement distribution of the structure under the snow load and wind load in different cable arrangement.The influence of different cable arrangement on the maximum displacement of the structure is compared and the arrangement of the cable is optimized.
