Self-propelled gun ammunition transport vehicle is an important part of the self-propelled artillery weapon system,it is the attachment of the main gun,delivery and rearm for the self-propelled artillery timely.The XY delivery ammunition mechanism of the load supply system is used in the traditional valve controlled hydraulic driving system,it is means to control the flow,pressure and direction by electro hydraulic servo valve.The valve control hydraulic drive due to system throttling,overflow and other losses resulting in low efficiency.Direct Drive Volume Control(DDVC)electro-hydraulic servo system is a combination of mechanical and electrical hydraulic system,also known as the electro-hydraulic servo system.This system by AC servo motor direct control of hydraulic actuators steering,speed,voltage,so called “direct drive”,the direct control of the hydraulic pump output flow of change is the origin of the motor,so called “volume control”.It has been developed rapidly and has been widely used in recent years.But because of the direct drive system change the motor speed by changing the flow of the hydraulic system,and general motor moment of inertia is greater than the rotation inertia of the hydraulic pump and also the overload capacity of frequency converter is also limited.All these will influence the performance of acceleration and deceleration for direct drive system,caused the traditional valve control system corresponding to slow the characteristics.Therefore,it is sig nificant to study the direct drive system and improve the dynamic performance of the system.This paper is to design a direct drive electro hydraulic servo system based on the original valve control system and apply it to the XY delivery ammunition mechanism of the vehicle,and achieve the purpose of saving energy;in order to improve the dynamic performance of the direct drive system,a feasible correction method is put forward to analyze the reason of slow response of the direct drive system.In this research method,this paper using the hydraulic simulation software MATLAB/SIMULINK to simulate and compare of the static and dynamic characteristics of direct drive and valve control system;using multi body dynamics software Recur Dyn and hydraulic simulation software AMESim,studied by the method of combined simulation to study on energy saving effect of direct drive system.This combined simulation is adopted,if the working device are analyzed,the actual situation of the hydraulic system is not to work for a good driving force;and if analysis the hydraulic system separately,without considering the actual working condition of the working device and method for hydraulic system was applied to the load.By using he dynamics software Recur Dyn and hydraulic system simulation software AMESim to make the Co-Simulation,during the process of the Co-Simulation,two kinds of software can be through the interface module of real-time data exchange to get within a working cycle under different conditions of different loads and different driving force between the real-ship.At last,through the comparison of the simulation results,the energy saving effect of the direct drive system is tested and analyzed.
