As the development of motor control theories and modern power electronics technologies,the multiphase motor drive system has been widely applied.Compared with traditional three-phase motor drive system,five-phase motor drive system has the advantages of low voltage high power,better fault tolerance,lower torque pulsation,more flexible control strategy,and so on.Recently,it has been attracting extensive attention from scholars and widely used in ship propulsion,aerospace,motor vehicles and other high power systems.Compared with traditional star winding structure,open-end winding structure has higher degree of freedom,better fault tolerance,higher utilization ratio of bus voltage,their combination will enhance the advantages of motor drive system.In this paper,based on open-end winding five-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor drive fed by the dual inverter,the vector control theories,the space vector pulse width modulation(SVPWM)algorithms and zero-sequence current suppression strategies caused by the dead time are researched.Firstly,the mathematical model of open-end winding five-phase PMSM in natural coordinate is established,with the extended Park transformation matrix,the mathematical models of the sinusoidal winding motor and non sinusoidal winding motor in synchronous coordinate are established,according to the two motor models,the single space and dual space closed loop vector control system s are established.Secondly,the SVPWM schemes for the dual inverter drive fed by a single DC supply are studied.Firstly,for the sinusoidal winding motor,two SVPWM algorithms without zero-sequence voltage in theory are put forward,a comparative analysis of the near two vectors space vector pulse width modulation(NTV-SVPWM)and the near four vectors space vector pulse width modulation(NFV-SVPWM)based on the bus voltage utilization and voltage harmonic is completed.Besides,for the non sinusoidal winding motor,the dual space near four vectors space vector pulse width modulation(DS-NFV-SVPWM)is proposed.Thirdly,the characteristic of zero-sequence voltage due to the dead time of the dual inverter drive is analyzed,which results show the zero-sequence voltage is decided by dead time,current mode and other factors,so,the max duty cycle compensation strategies are proposed.Finally,the theories above all are verified by the simutation model s built by Matlab/Simulink.The platform of DSP and FPGA for open-end winding five-phase PMSM drive fed by the dual inverter with a single DC supply is established,the vector control,modulation strategies and dead time compensation algorithms programs are written by DSP and FPGA.At last,the correlation algorithms are verified by the experiment platform.
