Since the late of 1970 s,geosynthetics have been applied to all kinds of projects of reinforced soil,for instance,retaining wall,abrupt slope,embankment project,etc.Geosynthetic have many advantages,it has good corrosion resistance,low cost,high strength and long service life,and many other advantages has been further play.Meanwhile,in our country,geosynthetic has made great breakthroughs.In many areas of application such as design theory,test,construction and testing technology,etc.however,Compared with other developed countries,we still have a big gap.In order to improve the strength and stability of soil,In actual construction often join the geosynthetics materials in soil.So the interaction between soil interface with geosynthetic materials play a decisive role to the stability of the reinforced soil engineering.One side of geotechnical material contacts with saturated soils,the other side contacts with unsaturated soils.This situation has not been mentioned in the specification.In order to study the effect of geosynthetic materials on the interfacial shear force.The research select three kinds of geosynthetic often used in engineering(Geomembrane,one cloth one membrane,two cloth one membrane),and three different moisture content.comparative analysis by direct shear test loess at different moisture content to the three geosynthetics interaction characteristics,the research get the strength curve between the geosynthetic and the soil.Research indicates that the moisture content has a significant effect on the shear strength of soil,different geosynthetics and loess contact,due to differences in interface characteristics lead to different shear strength,shear strength and vertical pressure showed good linear distribution,in the same filler,two cloth one membrane interfacial shear strength of the largest,followed by a cloth membrane geomembrane minimum.The experimental results can provide a reference for the rationality and reliability of the design value.
