CVJ is one of the important parts of automobile transmission system,which connects the differential and the wheel hub,and transfers power to the wheels.But in the process of transmission,it is easy to produce vibration and noise,which even affects the service life of CVJ.Thus,dynamic modeling of CVJ and studying its dynamic performance has very important engineering significance and application value.In most existing literature,CVJ are studied always by binding each part into a whole,which is not according with the actual structure.This paper will consider the characteristics of the key motion pair of CVJ,and take it as a rotating pair to analyze the dynamic performance.Firstly,stiffness of both ends of CVJ are tested.The relationship data between the force of CVJ samples' two ends and the downward displacement are measured separately through using texture analyzer.The data are transformed into the relationship between torques and angles,and then least squares method is used to fit out the relationship between torques of both ends and angles for obtaining tensional rigidity coefficient on both ends.Secondly,the finite element modal analysis was carried out on CVJ.The paper guides three-dimensional geometric model into the finite element analysis software ANSYS,calculates the finite element modal analysis on various parts of automobile CVJ by using direct binding method respectively and being equivalent to rotation pair.Thirdly,experimental modal analysis was carried on automobile CVJ samples.By adopting B&K vibration system,the dynamic performance of automobile CVJ is tested.At the same time,the modal test results is compared with finite element calculation of modal analysis,which makes the rationality of above two equivalent modeling methods evaluated.Finally,dynamics performance of CVJ is optimized by using dynamic vibration absorber.Through Fixed-point Theory,the dynamic vibration absorber is optimized to obtain the best stiffness,resistance and quality.At the same time,its vibration absorption effect is calculated.It is showed that,the result of finite element modal analysis on CVJ through the equivalent modeling method by considering the key motion vice characteristics,is consistent with that of modal test well.Therefore,when finite element modal analysis is applied to CVJ,its being equivalent to rotating pair has good engineering application value.
